Rasna Native Haat Aam Panna – Review
RASNA is the name attached to every Indian heart since ages. This is the brand that introduced us to the fruit flavored beverage. They gave us amazing flavors like Nimbu Paani, Mango, and Orange (The Most Favorite One). I remember the summer vacations when we used to get the Rasna packs that contained a small bottle of liquid and a sachet of powder; mix them with water and sugar and make fruit flavored syrup. Fill the bottles with these syrups. And keep them in the refrigerator. Add some cold water to few spoons of these syrups and then relish the great taste throughout the summers.
We were not bothered by the colors and flavors used in these beverages. Just enjoyed every sip of it. Later Rasna introduced ready mixes, those were just supposed to be mixed with water. No sugar was needed and the process of making the syrups and refrigerating them had shortened to just storing these ready mixes.
After many many years of a relish, Rasna has introduced a new range which is Sattvik (that means Pure and True).
Had purchased this pack of Rasna Native Haat Aam Panna while shopping for my monthly grocery on Amazon Pantry.
I Did not have greater expectations from a regular beverage, I just had a thought that it will be as good as a regular Rasna ready mix pack.
The pack of Curiosity becomes the Glass of Happiness
Opened the pack, poured little more than half of that pack (200 gm pack) in one liter chilled water. Stirred it well and served it to the family and guests. I didn’t taste it at first. And everyone’s reaction was like “Umm, what is it? Jaljeera or Aam Panna?” Started reading the pack again, it stated Aam Panna only. I was curious because of everyone’s reactions to the drink. I filled my glass and sipped it. Ummmmmm, it was different than a regular Aam Panna. Slightly tasted like a Jaljeera Drink. And this fusion of Aamm Panna and slight Jaljeera flavors were beyond any praises. I just could not stop over there. I emptied the entire pack in some more water.
Everyone said Once More, so did I!
I became nostalgic about the Aam Panna that Aaji used to make in our summer vacation visit to Ratnagiri. That cannot be replaced at all. The taste is not at the same level at all. But both these levels are superior. There is no comparison between the two. Aaji is no more, so cannot enjoy that taste ever again. But Rasna Native Haat Aam Panna is altogether a different feel. And I bet you cannot stop at just one glass of this heavenly drink.
When I visited their site http://nativehaat.com, I explored another beverage available under the Native Haat brand, like Shikanji. Willing to purchase it in my next grocery shopping.
You must try this amazing drink. There are many brands available in the market for Aam Panna, but Rasna Native Haat Aam Panna is definitely a different experience.

**The pack and the website claim to have no chemicals in these beverages.
